Key Points
Passport Validity: At least 3 months from the date of entry to Morocco.
UK Passport Holders: Visa free, for the purpose of tourism, for up to 90 days.
Travel Insurance: Your policy should expressly cover all planned activities on the itinerary, medical contingency , emergency repatriation and include a self drive travel clause.
Moroccan Immigration Control:
On-arrival form to be completed / submitted.
Show proof of onward journey (your return ferry ticket).
Passport(s) must be stamped in/out at border controls.
Driving Licence(s): Hold a valid UK driving licence for the type of vehicle. Also advised: A 1968 International Driving Permit - purchased in person from participating ‘Pay Point’ stores.
Vehicle Documents:
Original Named V5C registration document.
Original Named insurance policy.
Original Named Green Card - proof of international vehicle insurance cover. Apply through your insurer. If not provided by your insurer compulsory ‘3rd Party Cover’ can be purchased at the port of entry.
Temporary Import Permit: Complete the TIP at the port of entry. Keep safe and surrender it on exit.
Copies:
Digital - make, easily retrievable, digital copies of all documents.
Hardcopy - make, safely stored, multiple hardcopies of all documents.
